Experience: I started my coaching journey as a competitive gymnastics coach from 2014-2021. My passion for teaching gymnastics blossomed into personal training in 2019! Since then, I have dove deep into Pilates reformer, weight training, HIIT training, calisthenics, kettlebell training, and more. Coaching competitive gymnastics taught me how to be hands-on and how to have an eye for form. Pilates reformer has taught me how to breathe correctly while exercising and the importance of body alignment. My goal is to combine all of this with resistance training and share it for an optimized workout!

Fitness Journey: I grew up as a competitive gymnast. At the age of 4, I could point my toes, and my family, unknowingly signed me up for an intense childhood. As a kid, I don't remember what life was like without exercise and pushing my body to the max. I was also exposed to understanding my body weight and size at the age of 6. After gymnastics, I was a track runner and all-star cheerleader. I cheered at the University of Toledo, where my body dysmorphia, that started as a kid, was at its worst. After cheering at UT, I moved to Columbus, where I didn't prioritize my health and wellness. I was depressed, unmotivated, lost, and struggling with an eating disorder. Soon after, I turned my life around, and I started coaching gymnastics, and I decided to sign up for a gym membership. What was 2x/week turned into a 5x/week therapy session. Fitness truly gave me a purpose in life. Next, I pursued a personal training certification and much more. Today, you can say I'm completely obsessed with health and wellness!

Quote to live by: "How you do anything is how you do everything."

Style of training: Bodybuilding, kettlebell, HIIT, calisthenics, + mobility

Favorite exercise: Kettlebell swings, barbell front squats, deadlifts, and handstands

Fitness advice: Every day is a new day for opportunities. We have so many chances in our life to be better. It's simple... Tomorrow, be 1% better than today. I also couldn't recommend strength training enough! The body you want (aesthetically and physically) will benefit so much from heavy strength training, proper fuel, and a positive mindset. I believe you can do it and you can make the most out of this one life!
